B.Sc Csit Third Semester
In the third semester of B.Sc. CSIT, students delve into the fundamentals of data structures, mathematical modeling, computer architecture, graphics concepts, and statistical measures, which encompass hypothesis and multiple testing methods.
Data Structure and Algorithm

fundamental understanding of data structures and algorithms. Topics covered include various data structures such as stacks, queues, lists, trees, and graphs. In addition, the course introduces sorting and searching concepts.

Numerical Method

The primary focus of this course is to impart knowledge on numerical method techniques for mathematical modeling, which includes solving linear and nonlinear equations, interpolation and regression, differentiation and integration, as well as partial differential equations.

Computer Architecture

instruction set architecture, micro-architecture or organization, and system architecture. Instruction set architecture focuses on the programmer's abstraction of the computer, while micro-architecture delves into the internal representation of computers at the register and functional unit level. Lastly, the system architecture covers the organization of computers at the cache and bus level.

Computer Graphics

This course teaches graphics hardware, software, and applications, data structures for 2D and 3D geometric objects, drawing algorithms, geometric manipulation techniques, lighting models, and virtual reality concepts for both theoretical and practical applications.

Statistics II

This course covers sampling, hypothesis testing, parametric and non-parametric tests, correlation and regression, experimental design, and stochastic processes with a focus on computer science and information technology. The objective is to gain theoretical and practical knowledge of estimation, testing, statistical analysis, and experimental design.
